Terms of Membership
Last updated 10 October 2026
These terms apply to your membership of The Leverage Centre (leveragecentre.com), operated by DBHQ (“we”). By creating an account or activating your membership you agree to them.
Your membership
- Your membership is personal to you. Please don't share your sign-in codes or account.
- Each payment covers one month or one year. Paying early adds time on top of what you have left.
- Card payments renew automatically. If you pay by card, you authorise us to charge the same card the price of your plan each time your month or year ends, until you turn automatic renewal off. You can turn it off at any time on the Membership page in your account; your membership then runs to the end of the period you have paid for. If a charge fails we email you and try again on the following days.
- Bank transfer and USSD payments cannot renew by themselves. We remind you before your membership ends, and you choose whether to pay again.
- If your membership ends, your profile and applications are kept, and you get them back when you renew. Chips can only be used while your membership is active, and keep their expiry dates while it is not.
- Founding-member pricing is for the first 100 members and stays the same for as long as your membership continues without a break.
- Payments are taken securely by our payment processor, in Naira. We never see or store your card number; for automatic renewal we keep only a token from our payment processor and the last four digits. If you pay with a card issued outside Nigeria, your bank converts the amount and may add its own fees.
Refunds
- All payments are final. Membership payments, including automatic renewals, are not refunded if you change your mind or stop using the service.
- Chips are not refundable, whether or not you have used them.
- We do refund our mistakes: if we charged you twice or charged the wrong amount, or if you paid and we could not give you access to your membership.
- To report one of these, email support@leveragecentre.com from the address on your account. Refunds go back to the way you paid.
Chips
- Chips pay for the work of Archie, our AI guide. Your membership includes a one-time welcome balance, and you can buy more (10 chips for each ₦1). Each task shows its price in chips before you confirm it.
- Chips expire 12 months after you get them, whether they came with your membership or you bought them. The oldest chips are used first. Expired chips are removed from your balance and cannot be restored.
- Chips have no cash value and can't be transferred to another person.
- Archie is being built and is not available yet. Your chips are kept for when it launches.
What we provide
We find, check and organise opportunities from official sources, match them to your profile, and help you apply and use them. We check every listing carefully, but programmes change their rules and dates: always confirm details on the official page before you rely on them.
What we don't do
- We don't guarantee that you will be selected for any opportunity. Decisions are made by the organisations that run them.
- We never charge you to apply for opportunities and never take a share of anything you win.
- Archie coaches you; it does not write applications for you. Many funders reject AI-written answers, and you are responsible for what you submit.
- We don't list jobs or loans.
Fair use
Please don't copy or resell our listings, scrape the service, misuse Archie (for example to create false documents, fake proof of funds or anything fraudulent), or try to access other members' data. We may suspend memberships that break these terms.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made by opportunity providers or from changes to their programmes. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will tell you by email before material changes take effect. Questions: support@leveragecentre.com. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
